My LORD and my GOD - The reality of divine revelation

My name is Patrick, I am originally from Jamaica West Indies, am now living in Staten Island New York.
I decided to create and maintain this blog for one purpose only, that is to give some insight and light about the love of my life, Jesus Christ.  I firmly believe in the Bible as the authentic and final word of God to a world that could not other-wise know him.
    I know from personal experience that the only way to know God is to trust totally in what his word said.  God has committed himself to his word, in fact his word has become him.  (John 1:1) God cannot lie and therefore you can depend upon his word every time.  God has revealed himself to us by and through His word, He that walks in the word walks in the light of God's countenance.  Man can never know God apart from God.  God is a rewarder of them that seek him with all their heart.  God reveal himself to a person who seek after him in truth.  No man can fool God we may not know those who are true seekers but God knows.  If you seek me you shall find me when you seek me with all of your heart.  That is a promise from God who cannot lie.  When you start seeking after God then He allows his Holy Spirit to come to you and start revealing Divine truth to your heart that no earthly man can reveal, this revealing of God by the Holy Spirit will also convict of sin with the purpose of bringing you into an intimate relationship with God.  The Holy Spirit conviction is never to condemn you but to free you from Satan's stronghold by God's grace.  Will you start allowing God to speak to your heart today?

"Li-shu-'a-te-cha kiv-vi-ti Yah-weh."

Looking for the coming of Jesus You read that and your mind might go right to the Rapture of the Church and jn part you are right to do so, but am going to look at the Old Testament expectation of Jesus. "Jesus" is an English rendition (transliteration) of the Greek name Iēsous, which is a translation of his original Hebrew name, Yeshua (Joshua). In other word, when Mary called her son, she dis not say, "come here Jesus," she would say, "Come here Yeshua." The first place Jesus's (Yeshua's) name is mentioned in the Bible is in Genesis 49:18.  "I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD." (   "לִישׁוּעָתְךָ קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה׃.") Notice it is only three Hebrew words, "Li-shu-'a-te-cha kiv-vi-ti Yah-weh."
