SO WHY JESUS - YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

SO WHY JESUS?
Jesus, who is He?  -  Some say He is a good man, some that he was a great prophet, yet others contend that He is the Son of God.
I will submit to you this truth, Jesus must be the Son of God or else He is either demonic or crazy.
Let us examine the idea of Jesus as been only a good man, or a great prophet.
God said, “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8)
Again God said, “I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.” (Isaiah 43:11)
“Beside me there is no savior.”
So why did I say that Jesus would have to been a demonic or crazy person, if He was not (And is) the Son of God?  Let’s see something that Jesus did.
Luke 5:17-26
One day some Pharisees and experts in the Law of Moses sat listening to Jesus teach.  They had come from every village in Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem.
some people came carrying a crippled man on a mat.  They tried to take him inside the house and put him in front of Jesus.  But because of the crowd, they could not get him to Jesus.  So they went up on the roof, where they removed some tiles and let the mat down in the middle of the room.
When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the crippled man, "My friend, your sins are forgiven."
The Pharisees and the experts began arguing, "Jesus must think he is God!  Only God can forgive sins."
Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said, "Why are you thinking that?  Is it easier for me to tell this crippled man that his sins are forgiven or to tell him to get up and walk?  But now you will see that the Son of Man has the right to forgive sins here on earth."  Jesus then said to the man, "Get up!  Pick up your mat and walk home."
At once the man stood up in front of everyone.  He picked up his mat and went home, giving thanks to God.  Everyone was amazed and praised God.  What they saw surprised them, and they said, "We have seen a great miracle today!"
  2 Sam. 12:13
Then David exclaimed to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord!” Nathan replied to David, “Yes, and the Lord has forgiven your sin. You are not going to die.”
Pharisees and experts in the Law of Moses, These were men experts in the scriptures.  They knew what the implication was when Jesus said, "My friend, your sins are forgiven."  Only God can forgive sin.  A man can forgive a trespass against him, or against someone else, but only God can forgive sin.  Sin is the transgression against God, not against man.  If sin is the transgression against God, then no man can forgive that sin except the one whom the transgression was against.  Jesus would be deserving of stoning or any other death at that moment when those words came out of His mouth.
No good man or great prophet ever utter those words.  Jesus received praise and worship and according to the above Isaiah 42:8 and 43:11   only God should be worshipped, and only to God should go certain praise that deal with the intrinsic nature of God.
WORSHIP
Many verses forbid worshiping men, angels, or any created thing.
Acts 10:25,26 - Cornelius fell down to worship Peter. Peter forbade it saying that he himself was just a man. God deserves worship, but men do not. (Cf. Acts 12:20-23; 14:8-18.)
Revelation 22:8,9; 19:10 - John sought to worship the angel, but the angel forbade it because he was a "fellow servant." "Worship God."
Romans 1:25 - People who worship and serve created things, rather than the Creator, have left the truth of God.
To worship any created thing - whether man, angel, heavenly body, or some other object in nature (mountain, ocean, etc.) - constitutes idolatry.
Only the true God deserves to be worshipped.
Matthew 4:9,10 - Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.
Revelation 9:20 - Idolatry is forbidden because it constitutes worship of someone other than God (Exodus 20:3-6; Deuteronomy 6:13-15; Revelation 14:9-11). [See also Exodus 34:14]
Jesus accepted Worshipped
Matthew 2
1     …. there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:
Note carefully, at this point Jesus was only about two years old, He did not do any miracle, or preached any message, yet WISE MEN, fell down and worshipped Him.  (Only God should be worshipped) and God the Father sanctioned it by warning the wise men not to return again to Herod, because he sought to kill Jesus. (This Jesus could not be a good man or a great prophet, if He was, whose prophet was He?  He could not be of God since He would be in violation of the command of God)
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." -Matthew 8:2
"While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live." -Matthew 9:18
"Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God." -Matthew 14:33
"Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me." -Matthew 15:25
"Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him." -Matthew 20:20
"And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him." -Matthew 28:9
"And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted." -Matthew 28:17
"And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit...But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him" -Mark 5:2, 6
Salvation
If we know therefore that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, then we must believe the message He gives.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jesus is Salvation
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
SO WHY SHOULD I ACCEPT JESUS AS MY SAVIOR?
What is the message?   Jesus said:Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jesus is not one of the way, He is the only way.  In this is life for those who like the wise men come to Him and worship Him.  It is also spiritual death for all who reject this free Salvation.  (Yeshua, Jesus real name in Hebrew mean Salvation, or better The Lord Saves)
Acts 4
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
CAN I BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER BUT NOT IN JESUS THE SON?
1 John 2
21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Again we see the Word of God
1 John 4
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist…
I submit to you today on the authority of God’s Word, if you accept Jesus as your personal Savior today, He will vindicate you when you stand before His Father on that day of reckoning.  He is inviting Jews and Gentiles, blacks and whites, rich and poor or whoever you are.  God’s love is calling to you today.  My prayer is that if you don’t know Him as your savior, you will make that so today, remember tomorrow you might not be here.
I love you with the love of the Lord.
