THE WORD OF GOD
Yeshua the Word that became flesh came into the world, and because He was the Word of God, He could not return to the Father without fulfilling all that He was sent to do. So we hear Yeshua say, “I came not to do my will, but the will of my Father who sent me.” And yet again He said, “Behold I come in the volume of the book, to do thy will.” Yeshua is the total fulfillment of all the Father’s heart desire.
In Genesis chapter 1, we see the Word of God been active in creation. “And God said, let there be light, and there was light.” So the Word of God was active in creation, for here we see the Word spoken and changed chaos into order: so we see Yeshua came and changed vile lives, lives that were alienated from God the Father, and restoring them to perfect fellowship with God. When God speak lives and situation must and will change.
We cannot really know who Yeshua is, if we don’t know the power of God’s Word.
Can you imagine that He, who created the vast universe, would consider us so special that He would clothed His own Word with flesh, came and dwell among us, died a cruel death to save us. When I consider all this, then John 3:16 become much more alive to me. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
