The Christian Peace

The Christian peace is not the absence of turmoil, it is not the mountain top above the great flood, neither is it the smoothing words of those around us. The Christian peace is Christ.

Psalm 34:19 (KJV) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
Isaiah 43:2 (KJV) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

John 14:27 (KJV) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The Word of God has been manifested in the person of Jesus Christ, so God gives us comfort through His Word by the person of His Son Jesus Christ. The Word that said, let there be, and there was, is the peace of the Christian heart.
